Terms of Service

Last updated: July 31, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

By using vancesconcretecraft.com or engaging Vances Concrete Craft for work, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or our services.

2. Services we provide

Vances Concrete Craft is a licensed residential concrete contractor operating in Chattanooga and Hamilton County, Tennessee, under Tennessee Contractor License #00684219. Our services include:

  • Stamped & Decorative Concrete — patios, pool decks, entryways, decorative driveways
  • Custom Driveways & Walkways — structural pours with steel reinforcement and premium finishes
  • Acid-Stained & Dyed Concrete — interior and exterior architectural floor finishes
  • Restoration & Protective Sealing — cleaning, crack repair, micro-toppings, and sealer application

3. Quotes and pricing

All prices are quoted in US dollars. Published per-square-foot ranges are indicative only. A binding price is given in a written quote following an in-person site visit. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. If site conditions found during excavation materially change the scope, we will stop, explain the change, and agree a revised price with you before continuing.

4. Scheduling and lead times

Because every project is carried out personally by the owner, we take one project at a time. Typical lead times are four to eight weeks from acceptance of a quote. Concrete placement is weather-dependent; pours may be rescheduled where temperature, rain, or ground conditions would compromise the finished work.

5. Deposits, payment, and cancellation

Payment terms, including any deposit required to reserve a project date, are set out in your written quote. Cancellations made at least 7 days before the scheduled start allow a full refund of any deposit less materials already ordered specifically for your project. Later cancellations may forfeit the deposit.

6. Site access and preparation

You agree to provide safe access for equipment and concrete delivery, and to identify the location of private underground utilities, irrigation lines, and septic systems before work begins. We call for public utility locates where required. We are not liable for damage to unmarked private underground installations.

7. Curing, use, and workmanship

Concrete is a natural material. Minor color variation, efflorescence, and hairline surface cracking can occur and are not defects. Control joints are placed to direct where the slab cracks, not to prevent cracking entirely. You agree to follow the curing instructions we provide, including keeping traffic off the slab for the periods we specify and avoiding de-icing salts on new concrete through its first winter.

8. Warranty

We stand behind our workmanship. If a defect in our work appears, contact us and we will assess it and put right anything that is our responsibility. This does not cover damage caused by ground movement outside the prepared area, misuse, vehicle loads beyond the design, de-icing chemicals, or work altered by others.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Vances Concrete Craft is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or our services. Our total liability in connection with a project will not exceed the amount paid for that project.

10. Website content and intellectual property

All text, images, and design on this website are the property of Vances Concrete Craft unless stated otherwise, and may not be reproduced without permission. Information on the site is provided for general guidance and does not replace a site-specific assessment.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here at the time you engage us applies to your project.
